The Town of Moonbeam is a pet-friendly environment. The Municipal Council passed by-law 16-18 in 2018 for animal control in the community.
Dog or cat license
Every owner of a dog or cat shall:
Register their pet with the Township in accordance with Section 3.1, 3.2 and pay a one-time tag fee, as set out in Schedule “A” of
Keep the pet identification tag, issued by the Township as part of the registration, securely affixed on the collar or harness on the pet at all times; and
Obtain a replacement tag, and pay the fee as set out in Schedule “A” of By-Law 16-18, in the event that such tag is lost.
How to apply for a dog or cat tag
To apply for a tag, download, print and fill out all the information requested in the following registration form.
